Mumbai Cricket Association Registration

Formerly known as the Bombay Cricket Association, Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) was established in 1930. It is the governing body for cricket in Mumbai, Thane districts, and Greater Mumbai. Since 1934, the association has dominated the Ranji Trophy Championship conducted by the BCCI. MCA made a world record by winning the Ranji Trophy for 15 consecutive years. 

For Mumbai Cricket Association Registration, the player must keep certain points in mind.

  • A player seeking registration must be a bonafide resident of the area under the MCA jurisdiction, namely Mumbai and Thane Districts.
  • A registration and transfer form must be signed by the authorized signatory of the club or member duly authorized to do so. The club should inform the association about the person authorized to sign and his specimen signature in writing. 
  • On receipt of the registration form, before accepting the registration fees, the person shall verify the entries and the signature of the authorized signatory of the club.
  • A player has to submit the form duly filled with 2 passport-size photographs, 2 supporting documents as residence proof, and 1 document as the date of birth proof. If a player submits a copy of his passport, he must submit one more document as residence proof. The following documents shall be accepted as the date of birth proof: (ANY ONE)
